在中國的近三四年的時(shí)間里，為提升京津冀及周邊地區大氣污染防治，部分地區的相關(guān)環(huán)保部門(mén)根據環(huán)保政策對區域性的鑄造企業(yè)進(jìn)行提升改造，對個(gè)別地區（例如居住用地、高新企業(yè)用地等）直接將鑄造產(chǎn)業(yè)列入退出產(chǎn)業(yè)名單；而對于鑄造企業(yè)較為集中的區域則根據環(huán)保政策以及中國鑄造協(xié)會(huì )提出的要求進(jìn)行批次的立項整改，部分在規定期限內無(wú)響應環(huán)保要求不立項上報的鑄造企業(yè)則將視為退出，通過(guò)整改驗收后的企業(yè)則可以繼續生產(chǎn)，在冬季需根據當地的天氣預警實(shí)施錯峰生產(chǎn)。

目前國內主要集中整改并且有具體指標的區域主要有河北泊頭，獻縣，石家莊等以及山東萊州，濰坊；大部分地區（例如河南許昌，長(cháng)葛，林州等）環(huán)保政策還相對不太明確，對于鑄造企業(yè)（翻砂鑄造）整改具體要求有以下幾點(diǎn)：

首先對鑄造企業(yè)將目前的基本情況——廠(chǎng)區面積、生產(chǎn)規模、生產(chǎn)工藝以及當前的生產(chǎn)裝備上報，根據環(huán)保指標對自身企業(yè)做一個(gè)詳細的整改方案，例如熔煉設備需采用鋼殼電爐，爐頂需加裝吸塵罩，能達到百分之九十的無(wú)泄露收集，外部加裝布袋除塵器等確保粉塵無(wú)外漏，并且粉塵顆粒物排放濃度小于15mg/m2；

對于廠(chǎng)區的配套設施要求，例如：

消防設施——車(chē)間指定位置需放置滅火器，車(chē)間通道地面標出安全出口字樣，車(chē)間設置煙霧報警器、逃生指示牌、報警設施等，按照（GB50016-2014）建筑防火設計規范；

對于企業(yè)管理的要求主要如下：

廠(chǎng)區內外環(huán)境，廠(chǎng)區全部做硬化，道路兩側進(jìn)行綠化等，設置分劃好公共活動(dòng)區，停放區等；實(shí)行5S管理理念：例如成品的合理轉運、存儲、擺放、出入庫等嚴格按照規定流程進(jìn)行規范管理，定期檢測，公輔設施專(zhuān)人維護管理，明確化，規范話(huà)；
